2020 Season

2020 was certainly quite a challenging year for us all

We were very fortunate to be able to use the lockdown period to train at home and spend quality time with our horses to enable us to be fit and ready to compete when Eventing resumed in July

Event organisers did a fantastic job running so efficiently under the new restrictions, we all adapted well and were very grateful to be out competing again

There were many memorable outings especially with some of our younger horses stepping up – Jack Daniels LZ owned by Lady Milnes Coates and Penny Marriner successfully moved up to Novice and finished in 2nd place in the Young Horse League for 2020.

Hawk Eye owned by Helen Scott completed his first CCI3*L at Osberton YH Championships having stepped up to Intermediate being placed in the top 10 at every event and winning his class at Richmond

Levitate owned by Lady Milnes Coates and Deirdre Johnston also stepped up to Intermediate in 2020 and completed her first CCI3*L at Osberton YH Championships finishing a very respectable 18th with a double clear and just a few time faults. ‘Evie’ also gained top 10 finishes in her Intermediate runs.

James and Jo Lamberts Bulana had a consistent season competing at Burgham in the CCI4*S and Burnham Market in the CCI4*L finishing 8th and 4th respectively with double clears at both events. She then topped off the season with a lovely run at Pau in the CCI5*L to finish just outside the top 10 in 11th place.

JL Dublin owned by Deirdre Johnston and James and Jo Lambert continued his solid career with top 10 placings at both Burgham in the CCI4*S and Burnham Market in the CCI4*L finishing 6th and 10th respectively.

Both Bulana and JL Dublin gained their Olympic Qualification.

Despite all the challenges I am delighted to have finished the season in the Top 10 riders for 2020

2021 has welcomed some new faces to the yard

Caunton Well Connected owned by Belinda Williams and Coolparks Sarco owned by James and Jo Lambert are both new rides for me and I am thrilled to have them in the yard

In addition we have some exciting new youngsters some owned by ourselves ready to start thier eventing careers this season
